Dr. de Freitas completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Washington, Seattle, in 1984. She had been in private practice in Ann Arbor, MI for 11 years before moving to San Diego. Prior to opening her own private practice, Dr. de Freitas worked for North County Health Services. She is board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. de Freitas lives in Carmel Valley with her husband Dr. Bonadio, a perinatal pathologist. She has three adult children whom she misses terribly. Dr. de Freitas is a member of the St.Therese of Carmel parish. She is also a weaver and an avid Zumba dancer and enjoys yoga.

Dr. Theresa Dailey is a graduate of Reed College and completed her medical education at Cornell University Medical College. She completed her residency training in Pediatrics in 1998 at New York Hospital and has been in private practice ever since.

Dr. Dailey joined Carmel Valley Pediatrics in 2006. Prior to relocating to San Diego she lived and work in New York. Dr. Dailey is the proud mother of four children: Allison 15 and Mark 13, both at Cayon Crest Academy, Claire 10 and Paul 8, attending del Mar Elementary Schools. She is married to Paul Steitz, an independent financial advisor.

Her time is full with children’s activities including theater plays, sports and multiple other interests but above all a joyful golden retriever called Riley!
